Once again the lasers sailed in their fall series. Jon Oram, Dan McMahon and Rick Beale. Bill Kinney was kind enough to do race committee for the boys!
John Knoepke was generous enough to donate $50.00 to the club funds.
The updated IYC website went online on Sunday. The website is hosted by Michael W Geise at no charge to the club. Michael also set up the email to originate from his server so that we can discontinue the $5.00 monthly payment to Google that we have been paying for email service. Every little bit helps.
The phone service was switched a while back to NetTalk (a Voip service) which was donated along with a year’s service ($50.00) by Lynn Geise. Previously IYC had Vonage which cost $50.00 monthly. The change results in a yearly savings of $550.00.
A work party was scheduled for Oct 3rd and 4th (Sat & Sun). On Saturday the lack of turnout forced us to cancel on Saturday. Jon Oram, Rick Beale and Mike Geise did show up and their attempt is appreciated.
Mike Geise donated a 6 pack of paper towels for club use.
All overhead light bulbs in the club great room have been replaced with LED bulbs for energy conservation.
