There
is a gate across an access road to a NIPSCO power
sub-station. This gate is identified as Illiana
Yacht Club and locked at all times with a combination
lock. On Party days the top of the post will be
marked Party Combo (Combo will be given to those
attending), open the gate, drive
through and IMMEDIATELY RE-LOCK THE GATE BEHIND YOU!
The lock must be pushed in, then pulled to
release. If you are a visitor, contact a club
member or call (219) 659-9602
(temporarily out-of-service for the Winter months only) ahead of time, and arrangements will be made to let you
in when you arrive.
